Adoption Manager
Flemish Brabant · apply before 30 November 2026
Job description
- Start: January 2027
- Duration: 12 months
- Full-time
- Location: Kortenberg (hybrid)
Context
Today, we have a great deal of knowledge and expertise within our Business Owner and Product Owner teams. The challenge is not only what we know, but above all how we bring that knowledge to the network in a timely, consistent and actionable way.
We are looking for an Adoption Manager who will take end-to-end responsibility for translating knowledge into adoption.
Your mission
As Adoption Manager, you will ensure that new digital tools, functionalities and ways of working do not simply reach the dealer network, but are understood, implemented and effectively adopted by their intended users.
You will be embedded in the team, working closely with Dealer Relationship Managers (DRMs), internal product and process teams, and representatives of the dealer network. The role builds upon the adoption approach developed in 2026 and brings adoption and field execution closer together.
Your objective is simple: turn digital launches into sustainable usage and business value across the dealer network.
Your key responsibilities
Prepare the network for change
- Build a pragmatic adoption plan for relevant digital initiatives before go-live, covering target audiences, communication, enablement, KPIs and follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with the existing communication team, leveraging their expertise and channels to ensure clear, consistent and timely communication towards the network.
- Understand upcoming changes early by proactively engaging with product, process and project teams.
- Act as the critical voice of the dealer network: challenge whether solutions, communication and training are sufficiently ready for a successful field implementation.
Enable the DRM team and first-line service desk
- Organise train-the-trainer sessions so DRMs fully understand new tools, functionalities and expected ways of working before deployment.
- Translate central project information into practical, ready-to-use field material: presentations, training packages, FAQs, implementation guides, talking points and supporting documentation.
- Make sure DRMs have the knowledge and tools required to deploy initiatives consistently and confidently with their dealers.
Create an active dealer adoption community
- Establish and facilitate a recurrent adoption forum with dealer representatives, such as Digital Project Managers (DPM) and power users of the tools.
- Use this community to prepare launches, capture field feedback, identify adoption barriers and share best practices.
- Connect dealer feedback with the relevant internal stakeholders and ensure gaps, issues and improvement opportunities are followed up.
Monitor and improve adoption
- Track implementation and adoption across the network and identify where additional support or corrective actions are required.
- Maintain clear adoption KPIs, implementation trackers and reporting.
- Apply a consistent Communicate – Enable – Monitor – Improve approach across initiatives.
- Turn feedback, knowledge gaps and identified issues into concrete improvement actions with clear ownership.
What we are looking for
You are a hands-on, structured and collaborative adoption professional who is comfortable operating between central teams and a dealer network.
- Experience in change management, adoption, digital transformation or network enablement.
- Strong roll-out capabilities: besides designing the approach, you are also able to drive it operationally.
- Comfortable facilitating workshops, training and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Ability to translate complex project or product information into simple, actionable material for field teams.
- Proactive and curious: you go and get the information you need rather than waiting for it to come to you.
- Confidence to constructively challenge project and product teams from an adoption and dealer-readiness perspective.
- Ability to combine a critical mindset with strong stakeholder management and excellent collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, able to engage both internal stakeholders and dealer representatives.
- Comfortable working with adoption metrics and turning data and feedback into actions.
Strong assets
- Experience with structured change/adoption methodologies such as ADKAR.
- Experience working in an automotive, dealer, retail or franchise network environment.
- Experience with digital tools and transformation programmes involving large groups of end users.
Skills
- ADKAR
- Communication
- Office 365
- SharePoint
- Stakeholder Management
- User Journey
Languages
- Dutch or French: full professional proficiency
- English: full professional proficiency
What success looks like
Digital initiatives reach the network prepared rather than announced. DRMs have everything they need to activate dealers, dealer representatives have an active voice in the adoption process, adoption gaps become visible early, and new tools translate into measurable and sustainable usage in the field. This is not primarily a communication or training role. It is an end-to-end adoption orchestration role with accountability for ensuring that the organisation is ready before change reaches the network.
